Die Polishing Stones
- This is a specially treated Polishing stone that cuts fast and leaves an excellent finish. This stone is engineered specifically for aluminum, Metal and SS and other soft materials.
- It will not scratch or tear the surface. It can be used either by hand with one of our Hand Holders or with reciprocating profilers like our U-Lap and Turbo-Lap Air Profilers. Must be used with a lubricant to prevent stone loading.
- We offer a wide range of mold polishing stones. Our polishing stones provide fast removal of milling machine marks, EDM scale and other surface blemishes while producing a smooth, flawless surface finish.
- Our mold and Die Maker Stones will help you turn out finer, more uniform work and reduce per-job work time. We can provide a stone type designed for every job, every material, every finish requirement. We can also make custom size as per your requirement.

- Used by hand (softer stone types), by reciprocating machine Such as: Die Profiler, Air Lappers, etc. (harder type) or by ultrasonic polishing machine (very hard stones types)
- For removing hard scale generated by the EDM process on all types of mold & die steel.
- Used "dry" for rough forming and removal of machine marks.
- For hand polishing all types of mold and die steel grades. include: SAE 1030 tool steel, pre-heat treated P-20 (AISI4130), H-13,S-7, and T-420,high chrome/nickel content stainless steel & Non-ferrous metals such as aluminium, beryllium, kirksite.
- Finishing deep ribbed details and other hard-to reach corners in a mold.
- Final finishing prior to mirror (diamond polished) finishing.
